Animal babies

It has been 2 years in a row now that Mama deer has revealed her precious secret to us on Father's Day. Isn't her baby sweet?
Speaking of babies, the little ones in the nest are hummingbirds that live on a strand of Christmas lights in our yard. We first discovered the nest with one egg on Mother's Day.
Mother's Day and Father's Day: a coincidence? I think, not! Posted by Picasa

The benedictions of nature seem special in such gentle and nurturing ways... reminders of Life's tendernesses...

Awwwwww.... how sweet! I don't think I've ever seen baby hummingbirds before. What a treat for you to share with us - there's nothing like a baby.
